ANDALUCIA es de todas las regiones españolas la más rica en canciones y bailes. Es el reino de la guitarra, de las castañuelas y del "cante jondo". Los bailes andaluces se caracterizan por su fogosidad, sus movimientos vivos y rápidos de busto y cabeza y golpes de tacón (taconeo), todo ello realizado por un torbellino de bailarines que con vistosos trajes típicos y ojos centelleantes acompañan los diversos bailes con un constante repiqueteo de castañuelas.

ANDALUCIA is of all Spanish regions the richtest for its folk songs and dances. The tinkling of guitars, the clicking of castanets and the quaverings of "cante jondo" hold away over this fairy kingdom of Andalucian dance. A happy spontaneity is the characteristic of Andalucian dances which are performed with bold and graceful movements anf full of fire heel-tapping by a throng of dancers with flashing eyes and gay Andalucian costumes, all accompanied by the rhytmical click of that talisman of Spanish pleasure, the castanets.
